In
A Worldwide Travel Guide to Sea Turtles, a scientist, a conservationist, and a
journalist come together to provide a guide to places where people can view sea
turtles and participate in authentic conservation projects. Accounts cover
parks, reserves, and research sites on five continents, the South Pacific and
Caribbean, with details on the sea turtle experience offered as well as options
for lodging and other amenities. One chapter covers basic sea turtle biology
and threats to their survival, and another, accredited rescue and
rehabilitation facilities where sea turtles can be seen in captivity.
